Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She co-founded The Huffington Post, is the founder and CEO of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, author, philanthropist, television host, and also the proprietor of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece she relocated to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it when she was 21. As a conservative syndicated blogger when she graduated, she was able to be a voice of the Huffington Post. Her fame has led to the attraction of many prominent contributors to share their opinions on the news, politics and culture. Arianna was famous when she made the decision in 2003 to become an Independent candidate for the California Recall election to succeed the Governor Davis. Alongside this, she led the Detroit Project for efficient vehicles that use less fuel. Forbes placed her at 12 on its top 10 list of Most influential women in the media. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their top 100 list in the year 2010. AOL acquired The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. In 2012, she became the head of the media division at AOL. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli was the daughter of Konstantinos, a Journalism and management expert. The way she lived her life was determined through her relationship with her mother and her bond with her father despite being extremely close to the latter. Even during her formative period, she displayed leadership skills for which are still prominently known. As a 16-year-old her family moved in England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. At Girton College Cambridge. She joined the Cambridge Union college debate society while in college, where she was the first woman to be elected the president. In 1972, she graduated with the degree of Master's in Economics. After graduation, she began working as a columnist critic, and a television host. In addition, she was a part of the show Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books, utilizing editorial guidance from him.
