Morgan Fairchild (born PatsyAnn McClenny Feb. 3 50, 1950) is an iconic American actor. She became famous during the 1970s and 1980s due to the roles she played as an actress in television series. The glamorous look of her was the most prominent feature on these shows. Fairchild launched her acting career between 1973 and 1977 in CBS' Search for Tomorrow daytime soap as Jennifer Pace. Following her appearance in Dallas, where she played Jenna Wade as the very first primetime actress she was then a part of the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this role she was nominated with a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama. Fairchild also starred in ABC's short-lived premiertime action drama Paper Dolls. Later, from 1985-1986 she played the attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor in the theater, and has appeared in guest roles in television comedies including Murphy Brown (for which she was nominated for an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest actress in the field of Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill and Friends. Additionally, she is a SAG-AFTRA Board member.
