Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. The father of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. Even though he had always expressed an interest in the music world but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to become a lawyer and physiotherapist. He was employed at an area bakery on a part-time basis in order to provide for his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part the group that would later be called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010 and the five youngsters were funded by Simon Cowell. The group was backed by Simon Cowell. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the contest. Despite this, they finished third behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars to One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
