Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English roots. She is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, when the family moved into Victoria in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to learn English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands to Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as a professional model.
